i have nearly roughly $8k into my car, not including the cost of the car itself, nor the fact the previous owner had the trans rebuilt. even with a mild shift kit, it slips shifts and needs to have a hardcore trans kit installed. the stock intake, even port matched, is extremely restrictive as is the small diameter exhaust im running right now. my numbers are on a dyno with a carb and no accessories. im thinking i have roughly 250-300 hp at the wheels, and i cant get traction until over 45. even still, i need another $5k just to get it running to its full potential, and another $2k to put into the chassis and brakes to handle it.
