Default 1987 Iroc Resuce

Hello!

I have recently rescued a 1987 5.0 Iroc-Z and am bringing it back to life.
Its "running" again and will be getting it back to road ready condition.

I saw this forum and wanted to ask a few questions.

Who knows what the proper part#s are for the front and rear calipers? Or ideally a rebuild kit part# so I can rebuild all four calipers.
What about a good parts source for some interior pieces (dash top, door panels)

Instagram

Thanks

I'm new to the game as well but, I found 2 places so far. Summit Racing and Rick's Camaros seem to have a lot of stuff except for the fuel sending unit I'm looking for lol.

Classic industries and Year one are great resources for all of your interior and detail items....they may even surprise you and have some of the items like a fuel sending unit.

thanks for the replies! i have started taking the iroc apart for a "light restoration" on it. i have the engine out (bad exhaust valve and a few other small issues) and well as transmission and am taking out the seats/carpet.

the worst body/rust issue is on the drivers floorboard. It needs a new drivers side floorboard, I see that they are available from a few places.

However! The "frame rail" portion that is under my drivers floorboard has the structural integrity of a pringle. mostly the the last 10 inches where the transmission crossmember is bolted to, its really rusted and needs to be cut out and a new one put in. I can't seem to find any of the front frame rails as a "new" purchasable part. Are they available? Or am I cutting one out of a junkyard or fabbing something myself?

If no sections are available for purchase, I think a junkyard would be the best bet. I myself would go over that whole body with a fine tooth comb. With a car that has no emotional attachment, body damage like that could be too much to deal with.
