Default 1987 IROC-Z

Hey guys, new to the forum but I got some questions to ask. As a kid I always love muscle cars: Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers. An now that I'm outta high school and working full time i can afford one. Well I found a 1987 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z. Mint Condition no rust what-so-ever. Its fully loaded, T-Roof, Apline Sound System. Has the LT-1 motor. 75,000. He is asking $10,000 CANADIAN for this car. Is this a good deal?

Second - Are parts for this car and motor hard to find? Like if i blow the head gasket am I gonna be calling salvage yards across the country looking for one?

Third - How fast am I gonna get this car down the 1/4 mile? heheh.

Someone swapped in the LT1? Excellent swap!

You will be able to find parts rather easily & cheap.

As for approx ET, you could run anywhere from mid 14's to mid 13's with a LT1 setup. You shaved a little weight with the LT1 motor, nothing huge but enough to make a small difference.
