Default Vinyl wrap or save up for paint job on a 80 z28 camaro?

I wasn't able to find a post about this but I have a 1980 z28 camaro. I replaced the trunk and will see if I can find the hood for the camaro due to the current one which has rust spots on it (not sure yet if I can repair the hood or if I'm lucky enough to find one) so my question is once I fix up any rust areas on my camaro I would probably be vinyl wrapping the car matte black. Have any of you seen a 80 camaro vinyl wrapped in person? I think it is cheaper than new paint job but do you think vinyl wrapping the camaro matte black would be a good idea as in how it would look? Also if I vinyl wrap would the z28 vinyl graphics work well on the vinyl wrap? Any insight on this would be great. I will try and post a picture of my camaro tomorrow since I'm on a portable device at the moment. Thanks.

Offhand I'm not too excited about a wrapped car of any vintage.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to get some opinions on that. I will be waiting and get a paint job but got to find a good place around my area once I get the rust fixed.
