As you can see by the title I have a 454 BBC under the hood of mine. I知 a ford guy but because of my age and how transformers was this generation car has my heart. But not so much of a problem it has a 454 under the hood. What is a good top end kit, cams and any other thing I should do to wake this up. I知 mainly asking because I知 not a Chevy guy so if rather ask y誕ll who know what and how to do this stuff. I知 also mechanicaly enlcined as I知 a mechanic in the US navy (reserve), a technician at a ford dealer and I知 going to college for my engineering degree. Also been a gear head my whole life. But what are some good top end combos or kits that won稚 cost an arm and a leg? Thanks y誕ll!

 

These kits from Edelbrock are well sorted out,they've been at it for many decades. Arm and a leg price will be hard to avoid,maybe hit a swapmeet for some used goodies or surf ebay and craigslist but that's always a bit risky.
