Default Supercharger for a 383

Hey guys.

Can i put a weiand blower or a eb e-force blower ontop of my rpm airgap intake or must i change to the one the supercharger kit.

And can i still juse my holley 650dp

Blowers need a very large opening on top of the intake manifold matching the opening on the bottom of the blower, the RPM air gap ain't going to cut it. The Holley 650 is going to restrict the intake, and the carb will need tuning for it to work properly with a blower. You should use a carb especially calibrated to use with a blower.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Your engine wouldn't have been built to accommodate a blower. A blower engine needs to have a static compression ratio of between 8~8.5:1. 4 bolt mains are a must too, so you need to know what your block has. Also might not have the right type of cam profile for a blower. A dis-assembly and rebuild would be in order since a blower application is not a simple bolt on and go proposition.
