Starter tech help
okay, got my heater core bypassed thank you to those of you who replied.
1979 Camaro berlinetta 350 (not original engine).
Okay so I bypassed my heater core yesterday, as I went to start my car. it would give me one click and then stop. I know its the starter. So I went a head and started removing the starter. Except there seems to be some kind of frame connector or brace in the way, that has nuts inside the frame. With my tools I cannot reach them. Is there any way to get the starter out with out removing that connector/brace? Also how the hell do you get to the electrical wires on the solenoid? at its current state it is impossible to get to. I've tried, my neighbor who is a mechanic for Chevrolet can't get to them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
