Hi everyone. I bought a junkyard posi- traction GM 10 bolt 8.5 rear axle for my '41 Coupe. It had no brakes. Now I'm ready to install the brakes, but I don't know what year brake parts to buy because I don't know the year model of the axle. These are the numbers on the axle:
on the right axle shaft housing: 2TX P161D. One the front of the hogshead casting, left side: 526196-10, and 25. On the hogshead housing, right side: 156. Can anyone tell me the year it was made?
