The car was set up to do 1/8 mile and run on 91 octane. Any advice of what the car "should" make HP wise, and what i can do to extract more HP out of it?

Also would better gas help if I ran 100+ octane and advanced timing?? If so how much advance?

Sorry for the questions, Im a small block Newbie...

Not enough info there, what size engine?
What carb?
Assuming it's a 350 and must be not much over 10.0:1 comprssion since it runs on pump gas and seeing that the cam is not real radical albeit fairly bumpy I'd wager somewhere in the 375-425hp range at the crank.

What does your dad say about it? I'd contact the machine shop that did the work and see what they think. I'm guessing something over 400hp, but can't say how much for sure.
Did it ever run the 1/8th mile, or was it not completed?

We're assuming the engine is a 350. Here is your cam spec card: Lunati 40134
Your cam btw has an operating range of 3,000-6,500, so I hope you have either a manual trans or a high stall converter if it's an automatic.
Here are some additional numbers that you didn't supply:
Your heads have a 64 cc chamber, 200 cc intake ports
Head gaskets: 4.166 cylinder bore, .041 thickness
Deck height unknown (assume .010?)
Carb size unknown (assume 700 cfm?)
Plugging what we do know and what we might know into Desktop Dyno, I come up with 463 h.p.@6,000 rpm and 454 lb of torque@4,500 rpm. Compression ratio of 10.71:1.
If you have a deck height of .020, h.p. comes to 459@6,000 rpm and torque of 450@4,500. And c.r. would be 10.45:1.
Obviously there are a couple of variables in the unknown, but that's the best estimate based on what we have to work with. Honestly, I think those figures may be a tad too high. Only a real dyno would know for sure.
I'd also have to do some tighter figuring on the runner size of the heads. DD doesn't let me plug in the intake runner cc's, so I'd have to hunt down a flow file on your specific head to plug into the program. As an example, on my engine with AFR heads (I would like to get), 190cc runners show to give better h.p. and tq. gains than 200cc do. Bigger isn't always better, but your engine is built to wind out.

Sorry guys, Im new to the Domestic game and left out some details. The engine was a small block 350 , my dad says with the bore size it becomes a 355.

The compression is supposed to be 10.0:1 or around those specs.

The carb is a Holly dominator series 750 cfm. It has the Holly fuel pump and regulator, and I just did all the lines in braided SS from the tank up.

The car has a set of cheap headers and I just put a set of Purple Hornies on it, it was simply too loud.

My dad ran it in the 1/8 and in full stock weight through a 2 speed powerglide (1.82 first gear) and a 12 bolt spool (456 gear) ran mid 7's at 92-93 mph.

The converter is a fairly high stall converter, but Im not all that familiar with how the stall of a converter effects performance..
