1979 z-28 350, barry grant carb, engine started to stall in drive and reverse
turned idle screw 1/4 turn idle around 975-1000 rpm in park, took out
for a ride, engine started racing up to 2200 rpm, shut down, re-adjusted idle screw to 1000rpm in park, slowly drops in rpm to stall out.
has electric choke but not hooked up, butterfly in carb straight up and down, no movement, so i know choke aint closing, any help!!!!

 

i think my carb is too small!!!
