Default Intake ID

Hey guys, I Have this intake and before I toss it I was wondering what it was from, maybe i'll keep it? I checked a bunch of places and came up with nothing. Does anyone have a good site to go to? I used to use Mortec alot but it hassen't been working for ever. All I know about the intake is that it is cast iron, 4 brrl and the casting #'s are 14067055 (last digit might be a 3 lol).

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Joe

No such animal. Take a closer look, and see if you see 14057053. You sure it's cast iron? This casting # (if that's what you have), is a factory Q-jet 4 bbl aluminum manifold for a 305 or 350. Early to mid 1980's vintage passenger car, truck, & Camaro applications. Basically, an aluminum version of a stock cast iron EGR manifold. It's not a performance part, but is lighter weight over an iron one.

Yeah, that's definitely cast iron. 4th digit is a 5, but the last one is too schmootzed to make out. It's not aluminum, so the last number can't be a 3. Strange thing is, I can't find any other casting listed with those same first 7 numbers. Given the sequence of those numbers though, I'd say it's likely to be from the same 1980-85 vintage 305/350 engine. Just a junkyard dog of an intake really.

I know, i couldn't find it anywhere either lol. I was gonna toss it away but i need a stock intake for my 78 Z28 and i thought just maybe lol. but thanks though i guess i'll just toss it and keep looking. I have a few alluminum intakes (edelbrock, weiand) but im trying to find all original parts for my 78 to get it as close to factory as possible.

Thanks again
Joe
