just changed put all the gas lines and blew out the insides of all the metal gas lines. there was a rock blocking most of the gas in the gas tank line.

Pardon me while I laugh...nyuk, nyuk...
What in the heck was a rock doing in the line?
There's gotta be a good punch-line here...I'll work on it!

sounds like maybe there's a rock in the float but yeah sounds like a prob with the float, they get pretty brittle sometimes.

The carb is probably not used to dealing with the pressure since it didn't have much, and now the Float Bowl-der is overflowing.
Try to ROCK the car up and down to jostle the float. The float should sink like a STONE when the gas level drops, then the needle and seat should seal with the float in the up position.
If it doesn't stop overflowing, then I'd say a carb rebuild would be in order.

cleaned the carb and rebuilt it. no more gas is overflowing out of it. but now the car killed my battery and the other battery cranks the car for about a second then all you hear is the starter clicking.
