i have a 1980 camaro and im about to put my rebuilt sbc 350 in and my mom asked what i wanted for christmas and i started thinking about what i need and i figured i still havent gotten an air filter. and i saw this on jegs on sale

im wondering would the Spectre Low Profile Ram Air Kit or just a regular 14inch K&N air filter be better for my car?

 

I'd go with the K&N, as the Spectre ram air kit wont help unless you can run those ducts to a fresh air location. That would invlove cutting your core support and running them to your grill area, or running them down below the core support and mounting them below thw bumper where they'll just suck in water on rainy days.
The K&N wont isolate the hot air from your intake, but it will work as is, and work well.
