When did the 1981 Camaro come out and when did they stop them?

 

Came out in fall of 1980, like almost every year. They stop production in late summer around the end of July in preparation for the next year. August is usually when new cars are in full production for the fall release.

 

i assume u mean the designe of the 81 camaro, bc the 81 camaro came out in 81 lol jk, that particular style came out in 1978, thats my camaro =] and u have the last year of that body style my friend, 1981, however they are still concidered 2nd generation camaros which first rolled of the line back in 1970, probably my favorite year camaro.

 

no i just wanted to know when they stoped them beacuse they had to retool the plant for the 3rd gen's but i was told by the prevous owner it was one of last 2nd gen's made and when i looked on the build sheet its says june 27,1981
