I am thinking of replacing stock air filters with the K & Ns. Opinions?? Since they are quite expensive, wondering if I can expect a noticeable difference. Thanks.

 

Just to start, I have used K&N filters on my TPI for twenty years now. The same filters except I clean & reoil on a regular schedule. Did I expect big Hp gains from this filters....NO. So if you expect to make your car a performance screamer using K&N filters, don't buy them.

dont forget, if it flows more air, it flows more dirt as well. i will always use paper air filters on the engines i care about.

 

Amen, it's like oil too. I have always used Valvoline. Never understood why so many folks use K&N filters and high dollar motor oil on a dd.
