I did not think it was that much

 

I had mine built by a local shop. The quality seems good. The stall converter looks sharp. Customer service was good also.

If I had to do it again for the amount of money I spent (after I kept upgrading everything), I would be more inclined to consider Monster Transmissions. The local shop guy didn't have anything good to say about Monster however?

 

700r4- beast shell-red kolenes-upgraded pump-a little valve body work and you will love it !-i built one for my 73-its the cats meow.

 

T56 gets my vote

 

The 700R4 has a very strong first gear that will help you with your 60s if you are a track guy or help you run lower gears out back if you are building a DD for better street cruising.
