Hey guys,
so my 74 camaros been running great, i got in her yesturday to go out and a new problem has arose,
I have a turbo 350 transmission, automatic, shift kit, I know right now the modulator needs replacing and the transmission mounts broken (haven't got to it still) floor shift

Yesturday, started her up, and for some reason when I try changing gears, I have to pull or push extremely hard. But after forcing to change gears, she drives and shifts fine.
Would this be the transmission cable or have some bolts fallen out somewhere? Shes not leaking transmission fluid either..
Help is really appreciated

 

tranny cable snapped yesterday at work in the parking lot..
now that I know what the problem is, its down to finding a store that stocks it or going through special order... no car for a while

 

If you don't fix the tranny mounts the cable will probably break again.

 

i have a new mount in my back seat, i'll prob throw it on while I'm doing the cable

This will be my first time replacing a shift cable, any advice that'll make my experience easier?
