Default Loud noises while driving (driveshaft)

Hi guys,
Since I bought my Camaro it makes these really loud roaring noises coming from underneath the rear seat. I asked a friend and he said it's probably the driveshaft and I should replace it. Are there any other suggestions what my problem could be ? And if you agree to the driveshaft theory where can I find the measures for it to assure I am buying the right one. The car runs a 3 speed automatic btw.
Thank you so much for you help!

Unless the shaft is bent and or out of balance it shouldn't need to be replaced, usually just the universal joints need replacement.
A noise vaguely described like this could be other things, rear differential, transmission, ?
I'd get the car up on stands and check the driveline for play or slop at the u-joints and or slop in the differential ,check the engine and trans mounts and see that the trans is not coming unbolted from the engine.

Put the car up on jack stands and take a look ..It would be easier to check it

Sounds good thank you, I think it's not the differential because to destroy these old differentials I think it needs more than just 88.000 miles of cruising . I also don't think it's the transmission because the sound comes more from the rear and not really from underneath the front seats. I appreciate your advice with the universal joints I'll put the car on jack stands and check for play etc.
