Default 4-Speed Swap

I have a 1976 with the 250/I6. The Saginaw in it has no reverse. I am looking for a tranny to swap. I think Saginaw and Muncie are the same bolt pattern to the bell housing? Is the T-10 the same as well? ...or am I wrong on the Saginaw and Muncie being the same. I'm trying to see what my options are.

Both Muncie and BW T-10 are the same bolt pattern to the bell housing as the Saginaw 4 speed, is the Saginaw a 4 speed or 3 speed?
I seem to remember (decades ago so a little foggy) the only problem with some is the diameter of the hole for the input shaft flange, might want to measure that and get the dimension of the trans flange you want to use.
If your Saginaw is a 4 speed it should be plug and play I think.

It is a 4-speed. By "flange" that's the hole in the bell housing?
