Trying to figure what springs to use.
Hello everyone.
I have a 1972 Camaro with a 468 Big Block, It currently has stock small block coil springs in it and I want to install a set of big block springs and keep the stock height, Most I have seen offered for the BB lowers the car 2 inches and that is what I don't want.
Anyone have an idea for my delema? What brand and part number should I be looking for? Car has no AC.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the input, Maybe I should think about sb coils with ac, The issue I have now is the car seems to bottom out on the coils when I hit a bump, That could be because the coils are weak and lost the tension.
Car sits fine, It is just when I hit bumps.

Sounds like mushy springs, and a new set will definitely help, but SBC std. coils will probably still bottom out. The SBC AC coils will just add a little, without the nose high effect of BBC coils. You could also go with BBC lowering coils and get the firmer ride, but not bottom out.
