Default coil spring insulators?

I am working on a project that has "1972-1978" camaro front subframe and am wondering if it is necessary to install coil spring insulators. I have bigger than stock coils because I am installing a big block. They are coil over shocks. Also would the insulator be for just the top or bottom control arm or both. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

first off the frame from 1970-1979 are all the same variety with the steering geometry all placed the same

the insulators are a personal preference. I never bother to put them back in cars myself
