I'm putting tubular control arms on my re-furbished frame ('69) and wanted opinions on coil spring isolators.

I'm putting tubular control arms on my re-furbished frame ('69) and wanted opinions on coil spring isolators.
- Did the car come with it originally? I don't remember taking them off.
- Has anyone tried the urethane isolators?
- Did it raise the ride height?
- Was it worth it?
- What's your experience without isolators?
- If you have them, is it top, bottom, or both?
