Default Camaro Spring Isolators

I just got my new H&R lowering springs and I've been told that I should get spring isolators. My first question is do I really need them? What is the purpose/advantage to having them? and where do I get some for these springs are they usually universal or car specific, if you could direct me to a link that'd be great, I've been having trouble finding them...my car is a 2000 v6 camaro btw. What else would I need? my car has 47k miles on it.

Thanks!

Haha thats what I was thinking..nothing happened to them...I've just been told to get new ones by one of my friends, and what other things do you think I should get since I'm doing this. I might as well change other parts that possibly need changing since I'm down there.

shocks, struts, check the ball joints, tierod ends and look over any bushings. should be fine with stock dampeners.
