The thought did cross my mind. I talked to the guy I bought my suspention from today. Good news they are going to ship my lower control arms tomorrow. So this weekend I can get spindles off the blue car and get this thing rolling.

I didn't any parts this week, crap. I will call Monday and start giving attitude. I did get much done on the car either as I smashed my hand between a 7000# mold an a 5/8 bolt a work, got stitches in both sides of my hand and though my middle finger was broke. Fuel pump on the daily driver died too, so this has been a crappy weekend then add the rain and power outage I just want to go back to work.

Yikes, that sucks. Hopefully you are still able to use it. Having a broken middle finger is horrible. You bump it on everything.

Yup, and it has stitches top and bottom. My kids are scared of it. Hey do you have any pics of that specter cold air kit?

Bummer on the finger 77nomad! I bet it hurts, and gets in the way a lot too! Hope you're feeling better soon!

From the sounds of it, it may not fit though... I'm just hoping for the best.

Thanks guys. I worked last night and seemed to be close to normal. ATM how thick is the carb hat? I was considerind one of those to get around hood clearance issues. After doing the 1/2" body drop I'm pretty sure a cowl hood is the only way to go. I would love to keep my factory hood scoop though. It's one of the reasons I bought the thing in the first place.
