Vall, you having a fire sale? I'm kind of digging the building my empire part of life. I have buddies that I'm they died there kids would just get a bill. At 34 mine will inherit a lot of toys. I just hope I'm around long enough to show them how to use all of them.

Yeah I sure am! Nothing car related, but my collection of old gun catalogs from the 1800's and early 1900's has proven to be a wonderful investment! Most have been selling around $100 ea. and last weekend was a very nice tidy profit! I've started moving some of the "newer" 50's-70's catalogs too, and even they seem to be appreciated more than I thought they would.
I've just got way to much of this stuff over 40 years of collecting, and it needed to go to others to appreciate.

I don't have any collectables, just car parts and tools. I wish I kept my baseball cards. We all probably do.

I've got a lifetime of keeping collectables, and it's time for them to go. I started digging through my corner room in the basement, and just kept coming up with more good stuff I can move out. Good news is it's all going to car stuff, and my wife is happy because nothings coming out of the bank, and she likes the cars better than the boxes full of so called "junk" in the basement!

I have a Camaro in pieces in my basement and enough kids toys to start a daycare.

I love when a plan comes together. I got the 315's mounted today. I had to go straight to work afterward so they came with me. I took my new wheels/tires inside the shop because it was snowing like hell and I didn't want anyone stealing then. I got some looks. But I am the boss on my shift so no one can tell me no.

I got home about 1am and promptly fired up the garage lights. Checked the compressor for air because I didn't want to risk starting it with 15* oil in it. Its synthetic but my dads pops the breaker when cold. Grabbed my impact and bolted the rears on.

OH YEAH! I have been back and forth with people on forums telling me I wasn't going to like how 315/35ZR17's will fit. Some flat refuse to believe they will fit at all. Some say that you have to beat the seat belt hump and roll the fender lip. Most cars have the rear offset a 1/2" one way or another. Not mine. I used a plumb bob and a tape measure off my rearend housing. Dead center. The seat belt humps are close, real close. The fender lips are closer. But nothing touches. Next year I will mini tub and tuck them under the car. I will also be narrowing the rear end at that time by about 2". Until then I think I can drive this thing without beating up my car.

I will have pick up a new camera tomorrow for the glamor shots.

Here is the difference between the tire that was on there. I think the wheel lip may be an issue but like I said a mini tub is in my future and if I buy custom axles I can get them any width so I will narrow the rear two inches at that time.

Here are some pics of the smooth firewall v2.0. I am ready to finish this part so i can get the front back on and set this baby on all fours again. The new tires are some real good motivation for this. I tossed in a couple pics of the new Stealth Ram too.
