Thanks Joe! I don't plan to send it out assembled and I want the inner fenders body color.
77Nomad I was out sanding this am feeling sorry for mayself as I was sanding the plastic parts. Then I thought of you sanding rubber, That must be way worse. I also knew I'd be painting again so I fired up the heater to 65.Very tolerable...

My rubber nose is sitting up on a shelf. I haven't touched it. I scuffed it for the repaint yrs ago and that all has to come off. I am saving that until the end. Its gonna suck. I was out last night filling all the spot welds on the firewall. I also removed the tab that goes behind the master cylinder. The one that holds the wires. I had to fill the crater I made when I ground it out. Then made a better template for the panel to smooth it out.

So I let the fog clear a little. The one in the shop, the one in my head has been unchanged for years!!!
Took some new pics. The fender that I welded together looks great. The other one(the one I chemically stripped) looks like someone beat the top with a ball peen.

Was it because of how you stripped it (You mentioned "beat the top") So is it damaged?

I'll be filling and block sanding.. The wheelwells and the rad support are prob done until paint. The other parts will need body work first and another prime!
