I emailed Dennys two days ago and they said that the nitrous ready was the way to go. Looking on their site it seems as tho they will be more like $700? Did you get joints for yours for that price?

Yikes! I guess if they're warrantying it for life, but better live a long time at that price! I had mine made up at the local Six States Driveline Service for under $200. And the one they put together for my Falcon cost me about $120.

Hes going to try and get my car on his 4 post lift tomorrow or friday if he can. If he is able too, i will order a driveline this week. Waiting to hear back from the company that makes that lower frame brace too.

I dont have one. I am considering it. 700 seams to be a bit much, must be paying for the name. They are THE guys in the racing world.

When i bought my shaft i talked to a guy on ebay who works at a dana factory. He built me one with 4" steel and 1350 spicer hardware for right at 300. shipped. He told me that he and his foreman did this on the side. He's still selling on there 5 years later and his prices still look very reasonable.

Yeah i will get a final price early this week and get it on order if its not too bad. If it is too high there are multiple shops that i can use plus there are local shops as well.

Well i ordered that lower 2g bar off of the net. Speaking with the guy that owns the shop whos car is in the pictures, he says that mounting the rad onto the bar would make it real low so im still going to have to figure out what to do there.

I also ordered new rear shackles and inserts from them. Their video on the site convinced me to do so.

My buddy still cant get the car on his hoist, hes got a dodge diesel on there with no injectors so i wont be able to order my drive line any time in the next couple of days.

Not a problem if the radiator is lower than need be, as the mount can still be off the bar, and just raised up to make the top plate fit properly. Your buddy should be able to do it at the same time he's putting it in if he has the radiator with the car.

I agree, my plan was to come up off the bar. Keith told me the same thing about it being too low. I didnt intend on mine being directly on it but it sure does open up a place to weld off from.

Well i got some pictures but as i mentioned before they are pretty bad coming from his iphone. Basically as i mentioned before he got the braces in. Looking at how close they are to the valve covers, i dont believe they are going to work but will leave them in until after to see. Theres also a picture of the master and proportioning valve mounted up.

Really hope he gets around to the car sooner rather then later.

It is depressing looking at the paint under the hood. I have somewhere in the range of 30 grand under the hood but didnt take the time to paint in there. Ah well, next time i rebuild it i will, and i am sure it would help to clean off 12 years of dirt as well.
