Its tough to put a date on it. Unless money isn't an issue, as well as time. I was golden before my family came along. I would wrench on my hotrod day and night. If it was down I had someone pick me up for work until I got it right. When I lived at home money wasn't an issue either. I worked second shift, I would wake up and go over to the speed shop "Wizards" sit and bench race. Then spend my next pay check before it came.
Ahh, the good times. "go see the wizard, ask him for some *****." We all had tee shirts.

No the shop got closed. There was a competing shop down the road that had a guys car for five years without finishing it. The guy sued and brought wizard in to testify on his behalf. We it blew up in wizards face when the judge asked him for his business license. Closed the doors and haven't been back since. Those were good days. Wizard, Steve Morris Racing, and APS speed shop were all within 3 miles of each other on the same road.

Ah the stories of when we were younger with more time, and money, and energy...
We must do with what we have now.. Keep at working on your car. It is therapy...
My Car slept like Rumplestilskin for years while everyday life took priority..
Keep at it... We are never done....
I did a bunch of work years ago, and now some more work years later...
So don't worry if it takes time, or you are not done...we never are... Go man go....

need to find some good paint stripper that doesnt smell to bad,i hate laquer paint it only has 1 coat of paint its the original paint, but that laquer is so thick, and clogs the sandpaper.

If it doesn't smell bad it doesn't work well in my book. That is my rule of thumb. Too many products have been neutered by the EPA as being bad for our heath. Well put a warning label on and let me decide if I want to use it or not.
I use Aircraft Stripper. It is violent chit. It will burn your skin, lungs, and eyes. If its used properly, like out doors. It works perfectly. Just were rubber gloves and be sure to use some type of drop cloth to catch the scrapings. I did my fender on saw horses sitting on broken down cardboard boxes.
