That's about as bad as I've ever seen! The new dash should really be a huge improvement!
Once you've got the new exhaust system fitted, you can keep it looking good by sanding and painting the welds and rusty areas with hi temp header paint. I spray all my exhaust system welds, and they look like new after years still.

Lookin' good. How hard was it to get that dash outta there? I'm having trouble even getting the bezel out of mine! lol. Let me know when you're ready for the radio stuff, it's ready to come out.

If the bezel is tough to get out it's probably because the speedo cable is still hooked up. Once the cable is removed they drop out pretty easy.

Mine dropped out pretty easy after I got past all the old glue that the previous owner had put behind it around the headlight switch. Still have no idea why it was there, but it was.

Ya im thinking the exhaust will get ground down and painted black with header paint. The dash isnt TOO bad to pull. Most of the screws are along the bottom, with two up above the gauge cluster. They when you have all the little screws out give it a few tugs and youll see where it comes out. The top edge is held in with a few good sized clips, you may have to give it a good tug to get it out. And yes that dash was GROSS.
