I have installed the most amazing thing on my RS . . . its this hard clear layer that goes between you and the world in front of you, its very cool. So heres the install.







(oh and we quickly sprayed the dash black to match what the interior will be)

Quite a transformation! What did you use to glue the windshield in? Surprised there was anything correct that can be applied with a regular caulking gun.

 

same stuff i used on my rear window. Its just a basic windshield stuff. what do you mean by correct ? I know the stuff I purchased is made for putting windshields in . . .

 

What I meant was most butyl rubber is used for windshield sealant, and it comes in tubes that are forced out with an electric or pneumatic caulking gun. Usually so thick it is very hard to get it to move under the pressure of a normal squeeze type gun.

 

oh ya no my buddy there just has hands like a frikin vice. I asked why he didnt bring his electric gun and he said its for wimps ( i think he just forgot
