Throw it on ebay,not sure what you paid for it,but i can tell you they sell really well on there.I had a blue one i put on there a while back,it brought $120,being yours is black it would probably go for more since everyone is looking for black parts.

Further small updates . . . slowly but surely

Got some new(ish) tail lights. Much better condition then my totaly cracked ones. Installed those along with a new trunk seal. No more fish bowl trunk for me !

I really need to get going on pulling the dash but i know its not going to be fun

On a side note does anyone have an old radio they arent using, i need one of the stupid little flat nuts that hold the unit to the dash im missing one.

Great idea with the ash tray. And a set of Z28 tail lights, the pattern in the gas door give it away. So you know that red bezel you have is a 78 only item. Granted its not supposed to be red but the diamond pattern is unique. I used a real heavy flake silver wheel paint on mine. The facets really sparkle in the sun.

the red bezel is pretty chopped up someone cut a hole in it to put an aftermarket gauge in. I was just going to send it to my parts guy in trade for some stuff hes given me.

Ya i think the ash tray trick ended up looking good we will see if ebay agrees !

Are you looking for the something off of an original radio? My '78 has the factory 8 track player in it still and I'd be glad to send you whatever you need from it to make yours work. It's coming out of the car very soon. Lemme know.

Yup ! thats the little guy on the right there. I may also need a stock wiring harness if youre pulling that out as well
