Primer wont hold up well, so hopefully it will last through winter with two covers on it, but I wouldn'y bet on it. If you've got room for a temporary shelter, and the neighbors wont find it unsightly, then you might want to get one.
I've got a Costco full cover with sides, and zip up doors in my backyard. It's 10'x20' and mine is holding up pretty well so far. It keeps things really dry, and I use it to build in with a heater for winter. Under $200 too.

This is mine:

Both ends open fully, plus the side opens up as a canopy, and it has 4 windows that also open and are screened. I put down 1/4" crushed rock, then two layers of plywood over that so I could lay down under the car when working.

Yes, $199. Missed the sale for $179!
Make sure you have a friend with you to pick it up and assemble it! The frames are not lightweight tubing! They're very heavy! I also spent another $32 on screw in anchors, and if you live in a windy area you should get them.

Ok ordered a set of Summit headers to replace the nicely rotted out headers that are on there. Also am picking up a used windshield and a passenger side front fender (mines got a nice dent in it) If the car gods are good it will be in the shop sometime next week so we can get it all installed and if im REALLY lucky we will try and get it into primer !

If that dent isn't too bad you can pull it and fill it. Much easier than fitting a new fender on the car. Fitting new or used fenders can be a lot of work getting it all lined up and shimmed correctly.

It not so much a dent as a crunch in a place where it would be very hard to straiten or fill. replacing would be easier.
