Very nice, my interior looks exactly like that right now! Excited to see what's next. I'll be checking your progress!

I have way too many bad joints and defective parts that ache! But I find the more I keep working on the cars, the easier it becomes. Take a few days off, and coming back to it is just worse for me!

I need to take a few days definatly. It's just so hard to stay away! I'm also accumulating a parts pile that needs to go to storage. Along with a dump pile.

Geawiel, I merged your two progress threads into one. Let me know if you want a different title.

Thank you, the title should be fine. Move it over to projects if you want to as well. I've got some more progress pics to upload on the computer from the camera, then up to here and FB.

Looks like you are making good progress. Are you going to take it out and replace all of the wiring? That has always seemed to me to be a big potential bug-a-boo to me. Lots of opportunities for problems getting all the connections back together right and with really good connections.

I am going to replace all of the wiring. I don't trust it and, I don't want to have something fail when it's all back together. Then have to trace lines to find a broken strand somewhere. It happened to my father in law on his '65 GMC. His tail lights were intermittantly inop. When there was moisture out, they failed. He traced it, to find out that a 2' section of witing had been too close to a heat sorce and had become brittle.

On the Camaro, when I went to take apart the tail light assembly they all crumbled in my hands. So, at the very least those need replaced. Much of the wiring was taken out by the guys who had it before my father in law bought it. What was there, was mostly bad or, cut off in prep to remove it.

Looks like you're making good progress there! Sounds like we have some similar tasks, goals and "issues." I know this is not a pain management forum but wanted to let you know that it's good therapy in other ways too (which I'm sure you've already realized.) I've had 5 back surgeries already (just turned 39 couple weeks ago) and technically, the Dr. has forbidden me from even lifting a gallon of milk! I'm not out to ruin myself or do something stupid and end up back in the hospital for emergency surgery (again) but If I didn't have the Camaro to work on I would probably lose my mind. Your project looks like it's coming along great, and I'm completely with you when you say it's hard to stay away from working on it. Making progress is what monopolizes my thoughts even when I'm working on something entirely different! LOL

Good idea on replacing the harnesses. The wiring in my car has been a literal PLAGUE to me and has caused months of headaches and frustration for me. I will definitely be doing a harness swap sometime down the road.
