I’m installing a new abs headliner in my 81 z28. The front molding piece has screw holes in it but the don’t align with the holes in the roof. Am I missing a piece ? Or clips? I would appreciate anyone who can help.

 

My 79 Berlinetta came off (and went back on) with just the 4 screws. My front molding is metal, which secures against the driver's and passenger trim pieces which are plastic. It did take quite a bit of finageling to get it all to line up so I could screw it on.
