Cluster fiber optic cable 1973 Z28

I had to change my dash/dash pad on my 1973 Camaro Z28 ... I went on a short trip in the middle of the job. Also changed the housing on my cluster .....

one of the T 5 twist sockets near the cluster harness has a fiber optic cable I don’t remember seeing that or where the other end connects or plugs into

Hey pbed, there are two "fiber cables" they are really plastic. The one on the right (gauge illumination) goes to the top of the ashtray holder. The is a little black plastic holder on the top that the plastic fiber slides into. The left one goes to the wiper control. It's cool that back in 1973 they had the idea of fiber, but didn't have the ability for bendable glass fibers!
