I pulled these seats out of a 1970 Nova and I'm trying to identify what they're originally out of. One of the guys over at the Nova forum suggested they're possibly out of a Camaro.
From pictures I see on some of the replacement seat covers, the shape could be Camaro, but I haven't come across any with the horizontal pleats like this.
Does anyone have any insights?

No, Camaro front mounting holes/tabs are vertical.

 

Those are GM seats but not for a Camaro

 

Late second gen seats with nova mounts? Or they have been recovered. Size and shape look right for a 2nd gen camaro. I kind remember painting the back plastic piece that would be by your feet. That was in my 72. I don't remember that on my 74

 

I've been told that these are 1977 through 1981 Camaro as those are the only years to have the zipper in the back of the cover.

 

That makes sense to me. I never own a late second gen so I can not say for sure either way.

 

You can try a set of mounts for your car And or fab some them recover them the way you like
