My windshield wiper motor isnt working, its not hooked up to the arm that moves the wipers, but the motor still isnt kicking on,

 

Have you checked to see if it has power when the switch is on? Checked fuses?

 

I've found that a little electrical cleanup does wonders. My Z has some corrosion on just about every electrical connection. In fact my wipers would only work some of the time. I cleaned up the electrical connection at the motor...and now they are fine.
