Default Windshield Removal

What is the best way to remove the front and rear windshield? Is there a great risk that it will crack since its curved? What kind of tool works best?

when i did mine, used a piece of welding wire, stuck it through the window kit (we call it dumdum) and then pulled it around the window. it works pretty good

I went to napa and bought a kit with the special wire and knife for cutting the weather stripping. the kit is cheap. make sure you where some heavy gloves cause the wire will cut into your hands.
