why do I keep cracking starters?

You don't have to worry about tooth count on the starter, just the flywheel.
whenever i get the throtle close to wide open and let off it backfires and shoots flames outta the exhaust how can i fix that?

First try checking the timing, and all the usual ignition components, plugs, cap, rotor. Also take a close look at your timing while you have a light on it and see if the mark moves around a lot at idle. That would indicate a possible worn timing chain/gears.

yes i am getting a lot of backfires, whenever i throtle it if i let off to fast it backfires what does that mean?
