i rented the eastwood roller locally when i rolled my fender lips and would def do it that way. It's much easier and looks pretty slick

I should do that, see if any of the body shops have one available. There is also a local speedshop I could call, they were nice when I walked in there. I'm sure that The Hot Rod Barn would have one, but HOLY $$$ are they goofy.

Guy sounds like he doesn't know what he is talking about. Tell him to grab one of his kids rulers, put it a straight edge across the back of the rim, and measure it. If he doesn't want to do that then he is not a motivated seller.

I think that 4th gen camaro backspacing is totally different.

You could go to the tire calculator site I put up earlier and see what a 4th gen will take which looks like stock 6.4" backspace. A quick Google search netted results of people getting 7.5" bs tires on a 4th gen. 5.5" is like max for our cars. Of course you could put a straight edge on your rear drum, and spin it full circle measuring back to any obstructions and see exactly what your particular car has. Each rear end on our cars is usually off center by like 3/8" to 1/2" too, so check both sides.

NP, I am not sure what cars ours share backspacing with, that would be something nice to know though.

They share BS with same years Novas, or other leaf spring GM cars.

They're 17's. Not sure of the spacing. I bought them from a tire dealer that sold them new and took them back in trade a couple months later.
