now i'm not sure if i should spend $3000 on the 4l80 or use that to buy a built th400, exhaust and have enough left to just about rebuild my 10 bolt..but I love the option of having the OD too..hate big decisions lol

you can get a level one 4l80 with stall converter from pact for 2250 not sure what a manual kit is. there manual shift level 3 is 3300 with a converter its good to 1200hp.

Depends on whether you want/need to have an overdrive or not.

Why do you need a "built" 4l80e? Would a rebuilt regular 4l80e not suffice for $800? That is what some place in Kankakee IL is selling them for. You could also probably find one in a junk yard someplace.
