So that was the issue with your caps popping off then. did you get the wiring figured out so this does not happen again?

Four, if you're talking wheeled! (well 5 with the quad) But I don't really consider the '69 a toy. She's my daily driver, while the '71 Camaro and the Austin gasser are really toys. And the Goldwing will probably go away this spring. Just don't have time to ride it.

Spent the day on a paying job for a friend. Welding up rust holes in his lower fenders for a 1970 C10 PU. What a pain! Rust just makes everything tougher, and I chased the holes constantly, until little 1/8" holes were 3/8" by the time I got to good metal.
After that I decided to unwind and stripped one fender on the Austin (the worst one!) to try and pound it out and apply some bondo.

I buried my car and garage in a last ditch effort to get everything from my old house. I also did some more plumbing on the air compressor. Can't wait to finally wire that thing in but now there is so much crap in my way I can't

made it out to the garage for awhile tonight didn't mess with the bumper bolts saving that for saturday i hope when i have all day.
pulled the back seat out and made me a trunk opener 2 long extensions and a screwdriver held with ducktape!!!! popped it open for the first time since i parked it all those years ago and didn't really wanna see what was underneath the assorted junk from way back when kinda interesting junk though coke cans that evaporated some of my old 1/2 inch drive ratchets and sockets an AMC 258 intake a head from a ford 3.8 any way once it was all out i vaccuumed it good and to my surprise one hole in the wheel well about the size of a nickle! all the rest is completely solid so i'm a happy camper tonight.
sorry for being long winded
Dave
