I just got back from looking at the 78. Pretty good looking car for the most part. Engine needs work and there is sticky coffee all over the interior (major simple green and frebreez time). There was no rust through in the outer body, only a couple of rust through spots at the base of the "A" pillers on the dash. I figure this is from the windshield leaking but where else should I look if I have rust there? I just need to dig up $1000 and it will be MINE!!!

Check the frame, wheel wells, front spring mounts, the quater between the door and wheel arch, and the strip under the rear bumper.

The only other place the car had any rust was under the battery tray, and he has a new wheel well that is in pretty good shape already waiting for the car. The qtrs, inner wheel wells in the rear and the trunk are all in great shape.

Let me know when that happens and what you want for it, I'm kicking around putting air back in my car.

What did you use to dye the seatbelts? If it turns out good that would be alot cheaper than trying to find new ones.
