I work with a girl that has a Ford EXP w/ a 454 that runs consistent 9.99-10.05s and gets at least 2 feet of air. Tell her that and she'll knee you in the *****.

 

Back on the Austin today. Weather was wet and cold, but fired up the propane heater and it was toasty in a short time. I tried cleaning up some of the old oxidation on the paint. I wont ever save it, but at least I got it looking better for the spring/summer cruises.
Also got a couple little blue LED indicator lights froma buddy, so I stuck them in the dash for my turnsignal indicators and wired them in. Holy cow they're bright! I bet they light up the whole cab at night when I turn the signals on!
Swap meet tomorrow, so hope to get some harnesses, and a horn. Don't care about the horn, but kinda need it to be legal if I was ever stopped and checked.

heater core lines (that bottom one is a real PITA) flushed block, replaced water neck and installed a thermostat, new belts, hoses, water pump and replaced a muffler. shes almost ready to be taken to paint. cant wait

 

and just like that im sellin the 79 for a new project i got yesterday.. couldn't turn down this deal. ill show some pics of it soon.
