Impressive!

The president of my HOA would have his phone ringing off the hook if I did that.

And that would be my phone ringing!!!

I might be deposed!!

Hmmm! That might not be all bad!!!

I think you'll like the Megashifter. I've got them in two of my cars and their my favorite aftermarket shifter.

Decoded my VIN just to make sure the car is what was meant to be.

I pulled the subframe out from under the car after dropping it last night, and started cleaning and removing rust with a wire wheel and an angle grinder with 80 grit sanding pads slowly. Its going quite well and should get most of it done tomorrow and prep for powdercoating next week hopefully along with my UCAs and LCAs.

Realized I installed the wrong flywheel. Realized I had to drop out the transmission again. Decided that was enough for one day.

I got the motor to idle for the first time since i started the rebuild project. 3 years since i got it, 1970 Camaro. Came with NO motor, tranny, gas tank, seats, exhaust, rear end not bolted in, locks, spoiler, ignition, battery, front wire harness, rear wire harness, brakes, brake booster, grill, hood lock, rims or tires. Wrecked front valance and drivers fender. cracked windshield. Since then all parts have been replace and like a said I started it today and it ran nice after i rebuilt a 350 mydamnself. Did i mention it was free!!!She lives look out world almost street legal....just some fine tuning. See my other "project" car and what this one will become at. Home Page

Well lately the SS has been sitting a lot, so today I went out to take it for a spin and found the battery dead. Took the old battery to pep boys and picked up a new one and then she fired up like a champ. The inspection was about a month over due so I took it to Firestone to get the inspection taken care of and they tried to get me to pay them $115 to replace the serpentine belt but I nicely told them to jump in a lake. After she became legal again I took her to the car wash because all of the sitting had accumulated quiet a bit of dust. Then I got to change a taillight in the truck but that's for another forum. So all in all a pretty productive day.
