Went to the tool store and bought an air jigsaw to use in bodywork. I'm cutting out a reaar panel on a friend's Camaro to weld in a new one, and might need one for my projects too, so he's bought the saw in trade towards some of the welding.
Also got my rear side door torn apart to get the outside door handle secrued. Someone left a wsher off inside, so it wouldn't tighten down, and I was afraid it would eventually wear through the paint in time.
Got the two rear side panels removed and painted too. I was surprised that they were stamped steel with vinyl glued over them. Expected some sort of man made material. I guess the std. grade trucks were just painted, and not covered like the Custom was.

Thats a good deal. i'm installing new U joints in my brothers 86 shorty 4x4 so I can use it while my truck is down. My DD 91 Chevy is on its last legs. I have the misforute of driving around a fairly clean old school Chevy. Damn. It gets comments all over so I'm cool with driving it.

That's cool too! My neighbor is selling his '76 4x4 shorty show truck. Probably got $30k into it, but he'll never get anything close to that when it sells, as usual with toys. I think he's got a buy it now of less than half that:

I am a hughe fan of K10s. So simple to work on its not funny. I wish they didn't rust so bad though.

LOL, I'd lose that hammer of shame too while you're at it.

I've spent time cleaning up an oil pan of shame. This thing looks like DOO-DOO!

Not sure I'm going to finish it. Although, I just might to get something bolted on the engine to protect the bottom end...

I almost tossed it in the street. I figured the way my luck was running I'd hit my wifes windshield.

Steve, a new one is like 40 bucks. I bought a super el cheapo chrome one for my old pickup because it was cheaper than a painted one. I had such a back rear main leak the oil kept it from rusting.
