Discovered why I am having so much trouble changing out something as simple as a power steering pump. The bracket that bolts onto the pump and attaches it to the bock is for an older style pump, not a saginaw. Just ordered some new billet aluminum brackets so I should be up and running tomorrow. Also today I'm going to cut and install 8.8mm plug wires. nothing to exciting but its something.

After getting the yard work done I went to DMV and changed the expired plates on the Camaro over to Special Use plates. Good bargain for a fun vehicle, as they're $92 one time purchase for the rest of my life!
Now I can take her out for a nice summer ride today! Supposed to be low 70's today!

Got the Camaro out and used it to chase parts for the Suburban. Picked up a used factory console to finish off the interior on the Burb, and also new stainless rocker panel trim. Great day to just cruise with the windows down! Love this time of year!

I went and picked up some more paint and body supplies. Now that the windshield is busted I'm pulling it down to the shell and just gonna blast away. Then I'll have everything on hand to spray epoxy. I already have a gallon of SPI. Just needed strainers and mixing cups. Got a quote of about $430 for a gallon of the silver I'm planning. 64 bucks for a pint, so I guess I'm not gonna test it. Just gonna trust my instinct that I'll love it. Still need a gallon of 2K high build primer for blocking but I can order that after I get in epoxy.
