Default Water coming into my 79 Camaro from firewall

I have water coming down my fire wall into the car after a good rain. I have no mouldings around my front windsheild becuase Iam in the middle of a restortion and water in collecting on the flat pan right in the corner where the glass .Fender, and hood hing meet. Water just sits up there. On the pass side I noticed the water coming door behind the heater box and on the drivers side just above the high beam switch.
Any suggestions on what to do.

Thanks
Angelo

I've seen people drill holes so the water leaks elsewhere, or maybe you have some rust holes down in your cowl area? Tarp it in that area for now or worst case scenario silicone.

Thanks Joe the only problem with drilling holes is where? it looks like that area where the water sits is above the firewall in the car. So if I drill holes the water will go staight in side unless someone knows exactly where to drill these holes

Thanks

There are drain holes in that area already. It drains down the inside of the cowl and out the bottom of the rocker. Check the holes and see if there plugged.

Where exactly are these holes , are they closer to the engine or to the windsheild

Thanks

I would have to look. I can't remember exactly, but its near the fender. You can see the hole in the rocker by laying down and looking up at the bottom near the wheel arch.

I had a problem like this, I used silicone to seal the leak.

Once you find the bottom drain holes just blow the line clear with air. Be sure your hood is open as it will blow upwards and make a mess inside the engine compartment that will need cleaning.
