So will a Holley 600 fit the intake manifold?

Depends. Not sure which 600 you have, and which manifold pattern it is. If it's a square bore carb, then you need a square bore Holley.

There are adapter plates to put a spread bore carb on an even bore intake and vise versa but it's certainly not an optimal set up.
Every Holley 600 I've seen was an even bore, the 650's come in a wide variety some even bore some spread bore some double pumpers with manual
secondaries others single pump with vacuum secondaries.

If you don't know the difference here's a couple pics, the spread bore carb has small primarys and the even bore has all the same size hence "even".
There are different manifolds for the different type carbs.

Typical spread bore.

If I install the intake^^^, I shouldn't be expecting much power should I? Cause I can't imagine it adding that much power over the stock. I mainly want it because of the looks(mine is black and I don't like it). Then after this I'd build up the bottom end and put in cam, heads, etc...

You'll probably feel a little increase in power, especially if your present carb is a little tired.
