I have a 75' with a 250ci in it. I am looking to upgrade to something larger. I was thinking that puting in a 350ci wont be to much of a headache but will still be worth my time. Has anyone else done this? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

Yeah pretty simply change. Probably need frame and motor mounts. Also a exhaust system change and possibly a radiator if the 6 cyl. radiator doesn't cool enough. Of course new hoses, and cable to the carb too.

Last time I did the swap was in 84. I do not remember doing anything to the frame. We just got the V8 mounts and bolted them in. Althought the I6 tranny (if original) will not last long if you get a 350 with any real torque.

The exact same THM350 (M38) was used behind both the I6 and V8 engine, so you shouldn't have any issues with blasting your transmission, unless it's already on the way out.
